By accessing or using GitHub Repo Cleaner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this service.

Description of Service

GitHub Repo Cleaner is a web application that allows you to bulk delete repositories from your GitHub account. The service requires you to authenticate with GitHub and grant permission to access and delete your repositories.

Important Warnings

⚠️ Repository deletion is permanent and irreversible

Once a repository is deleted through this service, it cannot be recovered. GitHub does not provide a way to restore deleted repositories. Make sure you have backups of any important code before deletion.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to delete the selected repositories
  • Creating backups of any repositories you may need in the future
  • Reviewing the list of repositories before confirming deletion
  • Understanding that deletions cannot be undone

Limitations

The service has the following limitations:

  • Only user-owned repositories are shown (not organization repositories)
  • Maximum of 100 repositories can be deleted per action
  • The service depends on GitHub's API availability
  • Rate limits may apply based on GitHub's API policies

Disclaimer of Warranties

This service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • That all deletion requests will succeed
  • Compatibility with all GitHub account configurations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service provider is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
